Ingredients to make Very Soft Fried Bakery Dream:

Fried dream dough:

4 cups of wheat flour (560 grams)

 1 cup of warm milk

 3 tablespoons of butter

 3 tablespoons of sugar

2 tablets of fresh biological yeast or 1 sachet of dry biological yeast

 2 egg yolks

 1 pinch of salt

Dream filling (confectioner's cream):

 1 liter of milk

 1 cup of cornstarch (cornstarch)

 6 tablespoons of sugar

 3 egg yolk

 1 vanilla pod (optional)

How to Make Very Soft Fried Bakery Dream:

Start by preparing the easy dream dough: dissolve the yeast in the warm milk and place the remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Little by little, while stirring with a wooden spoon or beating with an electric mixer, add the milk to the bowl.

Tip: To reduce the egg smell, pass the yolks through a sieve, in order to filter the film - it is responsible for the egg smell and taste.

Mix it well and when the dough is smooth and easy to shape, transfer it to a smooth, floured surface. Knead until smooth and dry (not sticking), then cover and let stand 20-30 minutes.

After the indicated time, roll out this soft dreamy dough with your hands or with a rolling pin until it is 2 cm thick. Cut the dreams with a round cutter or cup and place them on a floured baking sheet. Let stand until they double in volume - this will take between 1 to 2 hours.

Meanwhile, prepare the filling of bakery dreams: in a pan, mix all the ingredients and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens. Turn off, cover with plastic wrap touching cream and let cool.

Another option is to prepare Belgian cream to fill your dreams: check out the homemade Belgian cream recipe.

Tip: If using the vanilla pod, split it in half, scrape the seeds with a knife and add only the seeds to the pan. Alternatively you can add 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence.

After letting the dough of your bakery dreams grow, it's time to fry! Heat the oil and, when it is hot, add 2 to 3 pans frying until golden on both sides. Remove to a plate with absorbent paper and allow to cool a little before filling. Repeat with remaining fluffy dream mass.

Make a side cut in each of the muffins and fill with a portion of the cream, using a pastry bag or spoon. Sprinkle with icing sugar and your fried bakery dreams are ready!
